Your role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior/ Lead Developer to spearhead our software development team of 20 people.

Lumion is built with in-house developed 3D engine and visual scripting, providing full-stack control to realize amazing features for customers. As the Senior/ Lead Developer, you will play a crucial role in leading the technical direction of our projects and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Lumion enables architects to present self-made, realistic 3D images and videos of their designs to their clients. Since its launch in 2010, Lumion has been changing the way architects work by helping them communicate their design ideas better and faster than ever before. Because of this, Lumion has been embraced by architects and designers in over 150 countries.

What you'll be doing:

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers, guiding them in best practices and efficient development methods.

• Work closely with stakeholders to translate project requirements into technical solutions.

• Utilize your expertise in software development to create visually stunning and performance-optimized software.

• Optimize 3D scenes, graphics, and interactive elements for real-time performance.

• Collaborate on the design of intuitive user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX).

• Implement interactivity, allowing for features like real-time walkthroughs and dynamic material and lighting adjustments.

• Oversee testing, quality assurance, and the resolution of technical issues.

• Manage project timelines and task allocation as needed.

What you'll need:

Technical Expertise:

• A strong background in graphics software development (2D/3D graphics).

• Proven experience (3-5 years) as a Senior/Lead Developer/Development Manager preferred in game development or 3D graphics.

• Strong proficiency in visual scripting (ie Unity Visual Scripting, Unreal Blueprints)

Leadership Skills:

• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of developers.

• Sound experience in guiding team members in best practices and efficient development methods.

Collaboration:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Ability to maintain strong relationships within the development team and with other colleagues and peers.

• Fluent in English (Dutch is preferred, but not required)

Project Management:

• Experience in agile project management, including task allocation and timeline management.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
