Lumion is on the lookout for an experienced Full Stack .Net Team Manager with a robust background in developing cloud-based applications and APIs. We are looking for an IT manager with a Full Stack Development Back Ground or a Senior Full Stack Developer who likes to lead our IT Operations Team in the near future.

Your role:

Both Lumion and our internal business processes are dependent on a range of internally built, cloud-based software services. These services cover most areas across the business ranging from sales and marketing, through to product development, customer support, and finance. Most of these services run on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will play a key role in the ongoing development and integration of these services, keeping in mind our main goal of taking our product Lumion to the next level. You will be involved in the whole process, from creative ideas to fully implemented solutions, also being part in the strategic decision making. This position is an avenue to step into a leadership role in the IT Operations Team today or tomorrow.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a wide range of modern cloud-based software services.

• Study requirements, functionality, and feasibility in collaboration with the marketing, sales, support, and product development teams.

• Thrive in a driven, collaborative, and results-oriented self-managing team, prioritizing quality, performance, security, and software maintainability.

• Showcase strong leadership potential, positioning yourself as a candidate for a management / team lead role.

What you bring to the table:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Development.

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in senior full-stack development roles.

• Proficiency in developing web applications using:

  • .NET Core

  • Entity Framework Core

  • SQL Server/SQL Azure

  • MVC/Razor Pages/WebAPI

  • RESTful services

  • Client-side development (JavaScript, SPA Frameworks)

  • Common Design Patterns and Practices.

• Experience in guiding teams, managing processes, and nurturing talent.

• Clear interest in becoming a team manager, by taking management training and showing willingness to take on HR responsibilities.

• Demonstrated ability to thrive both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Hands-on approach to work: the ability to simultaneously handle multiple tasks, maintain focus, and effectively meet established deadlines.

• Fluency in English; knowledge of Dutch preferred but not mandatory.

Desired skills:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure.

• Experience with CI/CD on Azure DevOps.

• Scrum master (and have sufficient experience with Scrum/Agile).
